Client Quotations Specialist

Overview

The successful applicant will be expected to provide effective, accurate and timely quotations / estimations in accordance with customer requirements. This can range from full tender packages to basic spares quotes with you as the main point of contact for all client enquires. You can expect constant interaction with customers to initially validate enquiries, co-ordinating internal teams, present, follow up and progress quotations purchase orders. If you have an enthusiasm, drive and dedication to deliver technically challenging projects this is the role for you. You will need a “can-do” mentality, be enthusiastic and self-motivated in your approach to your work.

Responsibilities

We are looking for you to become the internal champion and conduit for customers, distributors and agents, proactively updating them thought the quote, sales and order processes. You will be an advocate for Power Jacks products, seeking opportunities to upsell, provide additional products and / or identify sales opportunities for the sales managers.

Qualifications and Experience

• HNC Qualification or higher preferred, alternative consideration will be made of prior experience.
• Strong experience within the broad engineering solutions sector as well as experience in Tender / Quote compilation (preferred).
• The ability to work to demanding deadlines and manage conflicting demands and various tasks simultaneously.
• Strong commercial knowledge and cost awareness.
• Excellent PC skills -Microsoft office essential and Salesforce (or similar CRM)
• Self-starter who is motivated and displays a good level of autonomy.
