Bevel Gearboxes

The Range-C bevel gearbox is a compact cubic unit, available in 5 sizes each with Solid Shaft and Hollow Shaft designs with 5 gear ratio options and mounting points on all 6 sides. Suitable for low to high torque transmission up to 7000Nm as standard.

The compact design is made possible by the central bearing housing for the 1:1 and 1.5:1 gear ratios, for gear ratios 2:1 and above there is a small extended bearing housing on the input side of the bevel gearboxes. The performance of the gearbox delivers a high torque rating unit with good thermal characteristics and is available in solid shaft and hollow output shaft configurations. Mounting points are available on all 6 sides of the gearbox and there is an optional motor mounting flange, for easy direct coupling of a standard electric motor.

The N42 bevel gearbox is an ultra compact gearbox for transmitting 7000Nm and is available in Solid and Hollow Shaft designs with 5 gear ratios.

It is a high torque rated unit with good thermal characteristics. The Range-U bevel gearbox is part of the U-Series proposition from Power Jacks: a range of electro-mechanical subsea products specifically designed to operate at maximum efficiency in an underwater environment.

The Range-U Bevel gearboxes have proven depth ratings of up to 3,000m and capacities up to 20,000Nm as standard. On request they can go even deeper.

Range-P bevel gearboxes are small compact “monobloc” gearboxes for low torque power transmission and distribution up to 50Nm.

Available in Solid & Hollow Shaft design with 2, 3 and 4-Way shaft configurations. Several alternative fixing options are provided with 4 main mounting through holes in the casing and additional 4 fixing holes at each shaft flange.
