Electric Motors

Power Jacks can supply electric motors for all applications whether AC or DC motors are required.

The most popular motors used are 3-Phase AC Induction Motors, however we also supply 1-Phase AC Induction Motors, Servo Motors and DC Permanent Magnet Motors. All of the motors can be supplied with brakes; they are spring applied electrically released units, which provide the fail safe operating characteristics such that on interruption, or failure of power supply, brake will engage and arrest the load.

The brakes on these motors are primarily designed as holding brake. They are spring applied electrically released units (energise to release), which provide the fail safe operating characteristics such that on interruption, or failure of power supply, brake will engage and arrest the load.
