How Does a Planetary Roller Screw Work?

Planetary Roller Screw consists of a multi-start screw that engages with a nut via multiple planetary rollers. As the screw rotates this turns the planetary rollers inside the nut which rotate about their own axis while also rotating around the screw in a planetary motion. Resulting in the roller nut moving in a linear motion along the roller screw. Equally if the nut is rotationally driven the screw moves linearly through the nut.
