What Documentation is Supplied with ATEX Certified Equipment?

ATEX certified linear motion solutions supplied by Power Jacks will be provided with the following documentation package:

1)   Declaration of Conformity
a.   Signed declaration under Directive 2014/34/EU (and/or SI 2016/1107 for the UK market) confirming compliance with the ATEX Directive and relevant standards.

2)   Certificate of Conformity
a.   Product-level document referencing the ATEX marking, applicable zones, and any specific conditions of use.

3)   Instructions for Use
a.   Mandatory installation, operation, and maintenance instructions, including any special conditions that must be observed to maintain explosion protection integrity.

4)   Technical File Summary
a.   A summary of the hazard assessment and protection measures. The full Technical Construction File (TCF) is retained by Power Jacks for a minimum of 10 years after the last date of production, as required by the Directive. For Category 2 equipment, the TCF is additionally lodged with an accredited Notified Body for storage.
