There are 3 factors to consider when selecting the correct reduction gearbox.

• Select a gearbox type to the closest required power (Pd)
• Find the closest matching output speed hence gear ratio for that gearbox type
• Check that the gearbox power rating is suitable for the actual output speed

The gearboxes can take either IEC or NEMA standard motors. This allows the fitment of brake motors, flame proof motors, DC motors, AC inverter rated motors and energy efficient motors. All gearboxes are dimensionally interchangeable with major European gearbox manufacturers.
