POWERAM ball screw electric linear actuators are high efficiency actuators for high duty or lower power consumption applications for precision linear actuation, lifting and positioning.
Available in 5 nominal capacities of 10kN, 25kN, 50kN, 100kN and 200kN. There is a complete building system available for configuring an actuator with the required end fittings, drive and feedback devices for your application. Custom designs are also available, including larger sizes up to 500kN.
Unified Design means Machine Screw, Stainless Steel & Ball Screw Actuators Share the Same Dimensions. So, you can change the performance of your design while maintaining the same actuator size.

The POWERAM linear actuator design has successfully been applied in many varied โspecialโ applications, requiring for example:

Actuator Systems
The POWERAM linear actuators can be connected together in systems so that multiple units can be operated and controlled together. Theseย actuator systemย arrangements or configurations can be built in many formats with the use ofย bevel gearboxes,ย motors,ย reduction gearboxes,ย drive shafts,ย couplings,ย plummer blocksย andย motion controlย devices.
Four of the most popular system configurations are the โHโ, โUโ, โTโ and โIโ configured actuator systems.
Note that multiple POWERAM actuators can be linked together mechanically or electrically. The latter is useful if there is no space for linking drive shafts.
If multiple ball screw actuators are connected in a mechanically linked system then you still require a brake on the system for holding position due to the high efficiency of the actuator. The brake can be included in the system either as a stand alone device or as a brake motor mounted to the actuator.
Actuator systems are not limited to the number of actuators shown in illustrations. They are regularly supplied to clients with 2, 4, 6, 8 actuator systems. Larger systems can extend up to 16 or higher. With the use of electronic synchronisation/ control multiple systems or actuators can be used in unison. Extending the possible number of actuators used in unison in excess of 100.
